Michael Tkach, Psy.D., LP, is the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Behavioral Health Officer for Affinity Corporate Group.  Affinity is a leading occupational health, population, and disease management life sciences organization that specializes in providing technology-based solutions and supports for overall employee and population wellness endeavors.  Additionally, Dr. Tkach is an adjunct professor at St. Mary's University, Twin Cities.  He is the former Director of Recovery Management for the Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation, where he also worked as a psychologist and for a while as a core faculty member at the Hazelden Betty Ford Graduate School of Addiction Studies.  Dr. Tkach has provided clinical services in a variety of settings, including outpatient addiction treatment, community mental health, residential crisis settings, hospital settings, and college counseling centers.  He has conducted research in areas including clinical practice, trauma/trauma-informed care, semiotics, linguistics, and evidence-based practice approaches for co-occurring disorders.
